Michael Thomas-Knight published in FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE
I’ve been published in a book collection of horror short stories!
Great news, I’ve achieved two of three goals I had set for myself for the year. One was to get a story published in a book, a themed anthology publication. My short story, ‘The Suitcase’ has been published in this fantastic collection of ghost stories and ghostly tales from Grinning Skull Press. The second was to be paid $$$ for my work for which Grinning Skull Press has already made a payment.
If you like ghost stories, I urge you to purchase a copy of this, currently in digital formats only, and let me know what you think of my story. It is one that I am very proud of and it has a solid, Long Island, NY, setting and flavor. Also, there are fantastic authors and stories within this collection. I’d also like to thank Michael J. Evans for his fantastic editing.

Congratulations! I look forward to reading your story.
Thanks, I think you may find some familiar aspects to the story : )
Congratulation Michael 🙂
I wish I can read your story but I habe no credit card.
Good luck with it and hope it will sell well 🙂
No problem, there are several of my stories posted on sites that you can read for free:)
You mean this site or other sites?
Other sites, click on my category ‘short horror stories’. You’ll find posts about all my published works, some are posted on sites – microhorror.com, and the carnage conservatory. There are a few flash fiction pieces on my site, too, but I assume you have read them already 🙂
Awww…congrats. Is this your first time being published? Isn’t it such a wonderful feeling? I loved it the first time. I would download, except I do not do very well with ebooks to be honest. I will indeed buy a copy once it is in print…
I’ve had horror stories published in magazines but this is my first anthology book. A print version is coming in a few weeks.
Ahh. I love anthologies. I might be in a few more soon. It’s a good way to get really out there. In that case I will definitely order it once it is in print and tell you my opinion 🙂
CONGRATULATIONS MAN!!!!
thanks, finally getting some of my longer/bigger stories published. this is one of my best ghost stories and really shows my style/voice – it needed to go into a book – not a magazine or website.
Excellent!! I’ve been rejected by so many publications I don’t even want to try again… : (
That’s part of the work behind the whole thing, not easy finding the right home for stories.
Congrats! I’m so happy for you. I’m sorry about responding so late. I am so impressed, man! I love anthology novels. I’ll spread the word!
Thanks Vic!
