H.R. Giger
This man’s work needs no introduction. He is the creator and designer of many creatures and worlds in sci-fi and horror films from Alien to Prometheus. He has also contributed to album cover/ CD art since the 1970’s from ELP and Debbie Harry to the recent releases from Triptykon and Morbid Angel – see more at: www.hrgiger.com

Giger is amazing. Always been a fan of his work.
He has an amazing, one of a kind vision. The first time I saw his work I wasn’t sure if they were paintings or some kind of metallic sculptures. Everything had that silver metallic shine, and there’s no ‘silver’ in oil or acrylic paint – you have to create that look with whites and shades of gray. 🙂
They could make a movie that played totally in the world of Giger. But what i’m i thinking; who really needs that if you can watch George Clooney and Sandra Bullock floating around in space!??
That Morbid Angel cover is quite awesome. Would give any sane child nightmares!
Nice post, Michael. Giger was amazing.
