Score:
Below 50 – You’re a horror novice. You should go and find yourself a good romantic comedy on Netflix to watch because you sure ain’t no horror fan!
50 – 75 – Not bad! You have obviously watched and enjoyed many horror flicks in your lifetime and retain some memory of creepy places in these movies. Your awareness will probably serve you well in real life. If you were to come across a home like any of these, you would know to stay away.
75 – 90 – You are a horror buff with a keen eye and good memory. You would probably want to live in a home that resembled some of these, just so you could frighten the neighbors and scare your friends.
90 and above – You are obsessed with horror and I think it’s probably at an unhealthy point by now. You should go find yourself a good romantic comedy to get your mind out of this psychotic state of horror obsession you’re in!
An additional look at some of the lovely homes. Are you in the market for a new home?
Sigh. Horror is one of my favorite genres but I only scored 55.😕
lol, that’s not bad. the second batch is difficult 🙂 and you don’t want to get a 90 or above (did you read the scoring, lol)
Haha! I did. I wanted to score between 75-90,😏
Oh wow, I got very few, but I really enjoyed trying! 🙂
You must have at least gotten the Amityville. Munsters, and Elm Street houses…no? 🙂
Oh yes, I got the basics, and The Legend of Hell House, and House on Haunted Hill. I was irritated with myself for not recognizing the house from The Others. I obviously need to spend a lot more time watching horror movies! Time to clear my schedule…. 🙂
As soon as I saw the description for this post I was hoping the Burnt Offerings house would show up on here. But I only got 45 points. Great post!
Great to hear from you, I haven’t seen you posting much lately 🙂 Yes, I do love my 70’s horror flicks and included a lot of the homes here (Salem’s Lot, The House that Dripped Blood, Halloween, Amityville, Dont be Afraid of the Dark, Black Christmas, and of course the house from Burnt Offerings.
I didn’t do very well, but I enjoy good horror movies. I did get Amityville, Munsters, and House on Haunted HIll. I’ve actually been inside the House on Haunted HIll, which also served as Angel’s Mansion in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I was thinking about the 13 Ghosts house, before I got to the bonus questions. Unfortunately, i’ve only seen the remake of that movie, and not the original. I’ve seen both of the House on Haunted Hill movies.
Oh, and what about the Addams Family house? It’s pretty creepy, too.
Yeah, that is a good one. I ran into a few that I may have included so I’m thinking that I might do another Creepy Home quiz in the future…
I scored 60, some of these really stumped me.
You got a good score, seems most people don’t even get a score that good. 🙂
Well I love my horror.
OMG..47 points. So freakin’ close to not being a novice. It reinforces the point that I need to catch up on more horror 😉
I think the quiz is a lot harder than I thought it would be. Nobody is scoring very high on it, so don’t feel bad 🙂
I have heard that they have removed the two eye looking windows from the real Ocean Ave. house that the Animityville Horror is based on because tourist flocked there to get pictures.
Yes, the last time I flocked there to get pictures they were gone, lol! Amityville is only 2 towns away from where I live. (about 8 miles). https://parlorofhorror.files.wordpress.com/2014/04/the-amityville-house-today.jpg
