Hi, my name is Mike.
I’m a consummate fan of everything horror: movies, books, art, collectables, and horror culture.
I’m also a published author of horror fiction with over 50 short stories and articles in books, magazine’s, publications, and on horror websites. If you want to know more about me as an author click on The Author Page.
I mostly review horror films and books here on this blog, but I also like to bring attention to horror collectables, model-kits, artwork and artists. I will sometimes feature stories or galleries of interest to the horror fan and writer. True stories and incidents, real life places, people, and creatures – myths, legends, cryptoids and monsters can all be found here.
I rate films on a scale of 1 to 5
Anything over a 2.5 is a good entertaining movie in my book.
If it’s more than half good, that ain’t half bad…

Nice blog. Just found out about it. Sounds good to me. I love the Outer Limits. I will be reading from now on because all I watch is horror movies. Don’t know why and sci-fi original movies usually are funny rather than scary.
I agree, very nice blog. I love all your “likes”, “do not like” and though I rarely read “real books” any more, I love the works of Poe, Lovecraft and Matheson.
